This garden tiller in the 40V Battery series resembles a petrol tiller in both design and performance, as it has a good working width of 40 cm and a working depth down to 26 cm, ensuring thorough cultivation. At the same time, you get two blade speeds, a practical reverse gear, and the possibility to use the included battery with other garden machines in TEXAS' 40V Battery series.

The FRX4000 is a powerful battery garden tiller with a brushless engine delivering 800 W. Just insert a single battery, and you are quickly ready to work. Weighing 25 kg, it is lighter than most similar petrol-driven models, making it easier to handle, even if you don't have much arm strength.

This battery garden tiller drives 16 blades mounted on four blade sets, with two forward speeds at 100 and 130 rpm, so you can adjust the speed to match the task - whether you are cultivating or using one of the many accessory options.

Additionally, the FRX4000 features a practical reverse gear, allowing you to move it backward effortlessly instead of dragging it if it digs itself in. The wide guards on the tiller also ensure that the blades remain covered at all times.

The FRX4000 also comes with a combined depth skid and transport wheels, which can be flipped depending on whether you are cultivating or transporting the tiller. The rear-mounted, solid transport wheels allow you to tilt the sturdy handlebar down and easily roll the tiller around.

The FRX4000 operates with high power, and we recommend using two 4.0 Ah batteries, providing approximately 35-40 minutes of runtime. Actual runtime may vary depending on conditions and battery age.

The FRX4000 has space for two batteries. One battery powers the machine actively, while the second slot provides storage, so when the first battery is drained, you can quickly swap and continue working.

There are two 40V lithium batteries available - a 2.5 Ah and a 4.0 Ah - along with a standard charger and a quick charger. Both chargers recharge the 2.5 Ah battery in approximately 75 minutes, while the 4.0 Ah battery takes 120 minutes with the standard charger and 60 minutes with the quick charger. TEXAS 40V batteries can only be used with tools in the 40V Battery series.

1 | Ensure the soil is not too wet when tilling, as this will only create large soil clumps.

2 | Till the soil sufficiently, but not excessively. Soil clumps should be about the size of a walnut and at least the size of a pea, providing ideal porosity for plants.

3 | You can till in dry, hard soil, but this may require passing over the soil twice.

4 | Check the weather forecast; if frost is expected, wait before tilling.

5 | Use safety equipment, as a garden tiller is a powerful machine, and in case of accidents, it's best to be adequately protected.
