If you need to clear your driveway or even an entire parking area, the TEXAS Snow King 617TGE makes the job fast and efficient. Like the other models in the Snow King series, this high-quality snow blower is built to remove large amounts of heavy snow with its powerful 212 cc 4-stroke engine - clearing up to 1,220 m² per hour.

Even in freezing conditions, the electric start ensures an easy start-up. Simply connect a standard 230V power cable to the motor and press the start button - and you're ready to go. With a clearing width of 61 cm and a working height of 51 cm, this snow blower easily handles deep snow, throwing it up to 15 meters away via its 190° rotatable chute. With 6 forward and 2 reverse gears, you can always find the perfect speed for the conditions and clear snow efficiently.

The Snow King 617TGE is designed with user comfort in mind. In addition to its electric start, it features large recoil-start handles and sturdy control levers built for cold weather use - easy to operate even while wearing gloves.

It has two large 13" snow tires that ensure a firm grip on icy ground. With the engine positioned at the rear, the weight distribution is optimized, giving you a well-balanced snow blower that is easy to maneuver during operation and simple to move or transport before and after use.

The Snow King 617TGE features a two-stage discharge system, where the serrated auger feeds snow into the impeller before throwing it through the chute. The auger includes shear bolts as a safety feature - they break if the auger hits stones or hard objects, preventing damage to the gearbox or other components.

It also comes with adjustable skid shoes, allowing you to set the correct height relative to the surface you're clearing. The plate gear transmission is highly durable and stable, commonly used in professional-grade snow blowers. This design ensures smooth and easy gear shifting via the control lever on the handlebar.

The engine is a special "Snow" model, meaning its air filter and control components are designed specifically for winter use - ensuring reliable performance even in extreme cold.

The machine is supplied without oil.

TEXAS recommends using unleaded 98/100 gasoline (also called E5) for all our gasoline engines, even if the manual specifies unleaded 95 gasoline (E10).

This recommendation is due to changes from January 1, 2020, when unleaded 95 gasoline (E10) began to contain 10% bioethanol instead of the previous 5%. The increased bioethanol content attracts condensation/water over time and shortens the fuel's shelf life, which can lead to poorer combustion and starting issues.

Spreaders
After clearing snow, make sure surfaces don't become slippery. Use TEXAS spreaders to distribute salt or grit, helping melt ice and snow and keeping paths safe.
