The Pro Cut 400TG from TEXAS is a robust gasoline-driven scarifier designed to create the best conditions for healthy grass growth, giving you a lush and green lawn. Equipped with 18 fixed blades, this gasoline scarifier cuts deep into the soil for thorough and effective aeration.

This gasoline verticutter features central height adjustment, allowing you to adjust the working depth steplessly between -15 mm and -3 mm. This enables you to scarify deeply into the turf for optimal results. With a working width of 40 cm, the Pro Cut 400TG covers a wide area, making it ideal for large lawns with extensive moss buildup - the powerful TEXAS Pro Cut 400TG moss remover handles the job with ease.

One blade roll is included.

The Pro Cut 400TG is powered by a strong 212 cc engine delivering 4.0 kW and up to 3600 rpm (no load), giving you plenty of power to tackle even dense moss patches. It comes with a blade drum with 18 blades that efficiently scarifies, aerates, and removes moss from your lawn.

The steel cutting deck ensures durability, and with a weight of 37.5 kg, it's a solid and stable machine. The adjustable handle offers two height settings, so you can easily find the most comfortable working position. At the front, a practical lifting handle makes it easy to move the scarifier when needed.

The Pro Cut 400TG also includes a 45-liter collection bag, allowing you to easily gather moss and debris while working. Alternatively, you can operate it without the collector for rear discharge, then collect the moss afterward once the lawn has been fully scarified.

If you prefer to use the Pro Cut 400TG primarily as a moss remover, you can purchase an optional spring tine moss roller as an accessory. The Pro Cut 400TG is ideal for large lawns but also performs efficiently on smaller areas, quickly helping you remove moss and aerate your lawn.

The machine is supplied without oil.

The engine does not have a throttle control, even though it is mentioned in the engine manual. The manual covers several motor types. The engine is locked at full throttle (maximum RPM) for optimal performance during operation.

TEXAS recommends using unleaded 98/100 gasoline (also called E5) for all our gasoline engines, even if the manual specifies unleaded 95 gasoline (E10).

This recommendation is due to changes from January 1, 2020, when unleaded 95 gasoline (E10) began to contain 10% bioethanol instead of the previous 5%. The increased bioethanol content attracts condensation/water over time and shortens the fuel's shelf life, which can lead to poorer combustion and starting issues.

1 | Use the machine only in early spring and autumn when the soil is moist and soft. Avoid using it on dry and hard soil.

2 | Start with the shallowest blade depth and adjust as needed.

3 | Work in a crisscross pattern for the best results.

4 | If using the collector bag, remember to empty it frequently.

5 | If the treated area has been heavily moss-infested, ensure to apply nutrients such as fertilizer and lime after scarifying to promote healthy grass regrowth.
