For this type of work, TEXAS' SHX2000 battery hedge trimmer in the 20V Battery series is the perfect garden machine, as you get a 147 cm long hedge trimmer with the capabilities of a pole hedge trimmer. You can adjust the cutter bar in 5 angles between 0° and 80°, making work both comfortable and efficient.

With a cutting width of 17 mm between the laser-cut teeth on the 43 cm double-sided steel blade, the SHX2000 is ideal for privet hedges and other common hedge types. You will also experience high user-friendliness thanks to two cutting speeds, extensive adjustment options and, not least, itsvery low weight - the lightweight aluminum shaft means it weighs only 2.4 kg (without battery).

The user-friendly SHX2000 features a 400 W motor and, as a battery hedge trimmer, is light and easy to handle. Depending on the task, you can adjust the cutting speed between 1200 and 1500 cuts/min - and you can even briefly reverse the cutting direction, allowing you to free the cutter bar easily if it gets stuck high in the hedge.

Everything is controlled from the back handle, where the three buttons for speed and direction are easy to operate - and you have a comfortable grip thanks to the soft grip. The front D-handle's position can be adjusted lengthwise and rotated, and both handles feature an on/off switch that must be activated simultaneously to prevent unintentional start-up. There is also a blade guard on the top and at the end of the blade.

The cutter bar head can rotate in 5 steps: 0°, 45° and 90° to each side. Together with the cutter bar head's additional 5 steps of 0°, 20°, 40°, 60° and 80°, you always find a practical and comfortable working position. The SHX2000's cutter bar head can also fold completely down, and with its hanging hole, the hedge trimmer takes up minimal space during storage.

One 20V battery is required and must be fully charged for the hedge trimmer to operate at full power. It is compatible with 2.0 Ah, 4.0 Ah, or 5.0 Ah batteries.

There are three different 20V batteries, all equipped with lithium cells: a 2.0 Ah battery, a 4.0 Ah battery, and a 5.0 Ah battery, as well as a fast charger and a dual fast charger that can fully charge one or two batteries in 60, 120, or 150 minutes, respectively. Note that TEXAS's 20V batteries can only be used with machines in our 20V battery series.

Battery and charger are NOT included and must be purchased separately.

A blade cover is included for storage.

For safety reasons, the hedge trimmer will not start when the cutter bar angle exceeds 80°.
