The TEXAS TS5118 is a strong petrol-driven chain saw with a 51.5 cc engine, providing plenty of power for the large 18" (45 cm) TEXAS guide bar, making it easy to handle all your cutting tasks in the garden. This extra powerful chain saw delivers a chain speed of 21 m/s, ensuring efficient cutting whether you are felling trees or preparing firewood for storage.

With a total weight of 6.8 kg, the TS5118 is comfortable to handle even for longer periods. You also get a user-friendly chain saw with smart features that make your work easier. The carburetor with auto choke makes it easy to start the chain saw from cold or in cold weather. And thanks to the "Easy Start" system, you experience less resistance in the start cord. In addition, the TS5118 comes with a practical accessory package.

The TS5118 features a strong 2-stroke engine producing 2.1 kW of power. Its design includes automatic chain lubrication, requiring only a simple refill of chain oil before starting.

The front handle offers both horizontal and vertical grip options, providing excellent control in any working position. The metal spike bumper enhances stability during sawing, and the front hand guard acts as a chain brake, instantly stopping the chain in case of kickback.

A guide bar cover is included for safe transport and storage.

TEXAS recommends using unleaded 98/100 gasoline (also called E5) for all our gasoline engines, even if the manual specifies unleaded 95 gasoline (E10).

This recommendation is due to changes from January 1, 2020, when unleaded 95 gasoline (E10) began to contain 10% bioethanol instead of the previous 5%. The increased bioethanol content attracts condensation/water over time and shortens the fuel's shelf life, which can lead to poorer combustion and starting issues.
