The Texas Pro Sweep series is being further expanded
Texas prepares for the coming winter and presents an expanded Pro Sweep series with accessories such as snow blade and snow chains. With the series of universal two-wheeled tractors for professionals, Texas offers a multifunctional machine, which can be attached with a sweeper unit and a snow blade as accessory, or attached with a rear tiller unit.
The Texas Pro Sweep series covers the need of professional users as entrepreneurs, municipalities, housing associations etc., where clearing snow, cleaning and cultivating are relevant for the daily work.
The Pro Sweep series was first launched in 2004 and has since been a regular part of the Texas product range. Now Texas has expanded the series, which not only have been given a lift regarding design, but also stronger engines and expanded applications with the new snow blade and strong snow chains. The Pro Sweep is available in a 750 and 950 model, where especially the last mentioned differs as it among other things has electric start: “In the development of the Pro Sweep 950 it was important for us, besides having a powerful and user friendly machine, that it could be started just by inserting the key – and turning it. It’s especially an advantaged with larger engines, which can require some strength to start by recoil”, says Lasse Nilsson, sales director at Texas.
Advantages of the Pro Sweep
The Pro Sweep series offers high durability due to the strong aluminium gearbox with direct transmission (no belts). The gearbox has differential lock, so that both wheels can pull equally regardless of the surface; it is especially an advantage on icy surfaces. The sweeper is made with strong 2.0-2.4 mm nylon threads and has the optimum rotation speed for snow clearance.
New tools for the Pro Sweep
A new waterproof LED torch can now be bought for the Pro Sweep. It provides a powerful working light of 1200 lumen for e.g. removing snow an early morning without streetlights. “At Texas we always focus on creating the most optimal working conditions for the user. We are therefore pleased that we can now also offer a snow blade and snow chains for the Pro Sweep. It is ideal accessory if the surface is very icy and slippery or if lots of snow have fallen”, says Lasse Nilsson.
